8 OR 10:15 AM – WORSHIP
9:15 AM – COMBINED ADULT CLASS IN AUD
4 PM – SESSION 1
5 PM – SESSION 2
While we should always be focused on sharing Jesus with others, SFS is an entire day dedicated to focusing on this goal. We hope to help equip and inspire our church family to share Jesus with the world.
We want to equip you with tools and knowledge so you feel empowered to share Jesus with others. We want to help inspire you so you are reminded daily of the importance of sharing Jesus and the hope it brings to others. Lastly, we want to cultivate an environment within our church family where sharing Jesus with others is the natural and loving thing to do.
NOTE: During our 9:15 am session, regular MJ Kiddos classes will be offered for your children. During the 4 & 5 pm sessions, the MJ Kiddos will also be learning about sharing Jesus with others! Children ages 2 and under can be dropped off in the Nursery area, and children ages 3 through 5th grade can be dropped off in the Lower Fellowship Hall area.
Romans 1:20 tells us, “For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse.” This class will explore ways we can use God’s creation to evangelize and strengthen the faith of those around us. We will also examine the extensive evidence that God has given us through His creation.
In Acts, the church grew as it went house to house. Open doors led to open hearts. Our leaders should be men of hospitality (1 Tim. 3:2). Could we grow more if we used our blessings and our homes like the early church used theirs?
This class offers biblical wisdom for parents guiding their children through three pivotal stages of faith: considering baptism, the teen years before leaving home, and life as a grown adult. What does God expect of parents at each point along the way?
In Matthew 28:19-20, Jesus commands us to go make disciples. Our class will discuss practical ways to do this and what this looks like for us today, with an emphasis on Personal Bible Study. We’ll also look at some common thoughts and actions that hold us back from making disciples and how to change those in our everyday lives.
