Summer's Here: Time for Road Tripsby John Thomas Ever feel lost, misguided, or unconcerned whe you should feel confident, comfortable, and courageous? I think we all lose our place from time to time. We foreget which page we're on, we loose our bookmark, we might even forget what book we're reading from! If you feel lost, or uncomfortable about the place you're in, then maybe you should reassure yourself by pulling out of the map and making sure you're on track. Isn't that the best way for us to find out where we are and to feel confident that we are on the right path? If you are out hiking in the woods and you have no markers and no map, it makes it very difficult to make decisions at every split in the path. You have no confidence and it is easy to make a mistake because you end up just guessing. The more the pasth splits, the greater the chance of making a mistake. That's no way to make decisions about life. You don't want to leave you destination up to chance do you? The yourney is much too important to leave it to chance. The destination much too eternal! Pull out your road map and study it so you will know where you are going. Know the common pitfalls that other men have fallen into so you can avoid them! Keep your road map with you at all times, because you never know when your life may fall upon a detour A path you never planned on taking may be the one you find yourself on! Without a map, you will surely be lost. With one, your journey is not promised to be smooth one at all times, but at least you'll be headed in the right direction! June 6, 1999 Related Articles:
