In the beginning, God created the world. Jesus was with God during creation. Adam and Eve were the first people on earth.
They lived in the Garden of Eden. Satan lied to Eve. Adam and Eve sinned. That sin separated them from God. Sin still separates us from God today. In the first days, the people answered to the Patriarchs (fathers) of the people. They in turn answered to God. Then came the time when the people answered to the law of Moses (the ten commandments). The prophets foretold the coming of Jesus to earth. Jesus came to earth. He learned, grew, and taught here on earth. He chose men to help him with His work. He had some relationships that were closer than others, yet He loved them all. He would die for us all. It is His death and victory over death that gives us hope for our eternal future. His coming fulfilled all prophecies, brought about the beginning of the church talked about in the New Testament, and is the pattern for our lives since the old law was done away. We must believe that Jesus lived. We must confess His name as Savior before men. We must be willing to change our lives and conform to what He wants instead of what we want. We must be baptized as a symbol of our death to sin and our dedication to a new life in Christ. Just as Jesus was put to death, buried, and resurrected; so we must put Him on in baptism to put to death the old man of sin, be buried in the water, and to be resurrected as a new man (A man made whole and complete by the gift of the Savior... His death)! Praise to Godfor His plan.
Praise to the Son for His willingness to die (to pay for our sins). Praise to the Holy Spirit for guiding us through life and comforting us! We are given life so that we can learn the ways of God. Until we know God, we could never appreciate Heaven!
