1) "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. 2) Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. 3) For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4) But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5) For every man shall bear his own burden. 6) Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap ".
Many folks take pleasure when someone falls. 1 guess they think it makes them look smarter in some twisted kind of way. I tell you... that kind of attitude is straight from the devil himself! We should instead, act with meekness, says Galatians 6:1. We should remember all the times that we have fallen and how bad it hurts us each time! We should remember when we've embarrassed our families. We should remember the shame we felt when we got caught. We should remember how little we know and how insignificant we are compared to God (After all we shouldn't compare ourselves to men as God will judge us). We should remember that we have been tempted before and fallen. We should know we will be tempted again. We should consider ourselves lest we be tempted (Again Galatians 6:1). When someone is caught in a wrong, we should spend our time restoring that person, not tearing them further down! And then we should bear their burden for them.. .Anything less is not of Christ!
