Have you ever had cold feet? And I'm not talking about timid! I mean physically. Have you ever had really cold feet?
Have you ever noticed someone else's cold feet? When you're snuggle on the couch with your spouse, and they touch you willi "straight from the North Pole" toes, I'm talking "Freezer Feet it's a terrible feeling! Somebody's going down!
Have you ever been accused of being cold towards others always amazing to see how badly we can hurt someone, but we seem to notice how cold we really are to them. It takes a lot of maturity to harness our words and actions in order to make sure you're really giving what we think we are giving. Many times we say things that are intended to be warmly received, but instead, it may come across like a good dose of north wind that chills before it hits the ears.
Many times we don't want to expose our faults or admit to wrongdoings, but we are quick to jump on the bandwagon someone else slips. Some of us blow things out of proportion, past the truth. We need to spend less time and energy beating up when they fall, and more time making sure that we are bailing water out of our own boat.
Remember the passages about these things: ( Matthew 7) ( Lesson 1) The sawdust and the log. 2) With what measure the same measure will be used with you. 3) You should treat the way you want to be treated. 4) A good tree doesn't produce fruit. 5) Not everyone who calls himself a Christian Will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
1) We shouldn't judge others.
2) We should live our lives in a way that others won't judge us harshly.
3) We should choose our words so that people under: what we are really trying to say, lest they think we are t cold to them, when our intentions were only meant to be.
We can do great or destructive things with our ton: Let's keep them bridled. James 3:2 " For in many thing offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a man, and able also to bridle the whole body".
p.s. Let's use socks, not our mouths to warm our feet!
