The Gambian Plea

"And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, 'Come over to Macedonia and help us'" ( Acts 16:9, NKJV).
After the meeting in Scottsville, I received the following letter from Gambia. The letter was written by Isaac Dayes, the director of World Bible School in Gambia:

"Dear brothers in Christ,
I labor among the Muslims in the tiny West African nation of Gambia, where 85% of the populace are Muslims. I find your tract entitled "HE LIVES"
suitable and effective for Muslims' Evangelism. Hence, my appeal that you kindly send me some consignment for distribution to our numerous W.B.S. students and the public. I thank you for your love and consideration. God bless you.

Isaac was given "HE LIVES" through the ministry of Gospel Tracts International in Fayetteville, Arkansas. All over the world, people are hungering and thirsting after the Gospel. Here is another example of it in Isaac's "Gambian Plea."
I'm writing Isaac back, and sending him several hundred tracts. Our hope and'prayer is many people will be won to Christ.
Tracts are an effective way to give someone the opportunity to learn about Jesus and His church. In Hope For Life's Journey, a Herald of Truth Television Ministry, a recent convert named Joe, an hispanic brother, was guest.
What made Joe's appearance so dynamic is that he learned the gospel from a Bible Correspondence Course he had found in a trash can! Imagine, from what someone thought to be trash, Joe found eternal treasure! What wonderful providence!
Take some Bible tracts and give them to some friends searching for truth. Satan is leaving tremendous marks on our society, and a lot of our friends are hurting. The healing balm of the gospel is the remedy, but it must be applied. Spread this balm everywhere! Leave it on restaurant tables, restrooms, airports, bus stations, at work, and in neighbor's houses.
Maybe there's another "Joe" working next to you.
Isaac's Gambian plea is being answered, but there are so many others crying out! How shall we answer? Will we answer? God is watching...
"Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature" ( Mark 16:15). This plea, yea, this command comes from Jesus. How shall we answer?
