How Often Do You Pray?
by Phil Waggoner

In 1 Thessalonians 5:17, we are commanded to "Pray without Ceasing." In Philippians 1:3-4, it says "I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you with all joy..."
One of the greatest things we can do is pray. We can pray as often as we want and pray for people that we love and care about. One thing that helps me is keeping a prayer list. If one takes the time to write down those he is praying for, he can go back over time and see how God answered those prayers.
We have a lot to be thankful for! Think about the wonderful people in your life that you can thank God for, just like Paul. Let us not take things or people for granted. Take time to thank God for your friends, brothers, and sisters in Christ, and family members who have encouraged you, loved, and supported you.
Let us pray more often and see the tremendous effect God will have in our lives! I am thankful for you!
