All Members Are Needed For Friends Day 2004
by David Shannon
- Follow up before Sunday with those you invited. Tell them how or where they can find you in our facility. Be ready to meet, greet, and visit with many who will be here for the first time!
- All Adult Bible Classes will meet in the Auditorium.
Jr. High and High School Classes will meet in the Senior
Citizen Building Next Door.
5th--6th Grade will meet in the High School room just off the
downstairs fellowship area.
- Drop Off Soup/ Sandwiches: There will be two drop off points in which people will take the soup from you as you pull through the points. One will be in the rear of the building near the fellowship area entrance and the other will be on the north side (senior citizens side) of our building.
- Plan to Park, if your health will allow, at the Elementary School. Shuttle service will be available. We should have enough visitors to almost fill up our parking areas.
- Plan to sit with your guests in the auditorium. For those without guests or late arrivals, 150 seats will be available for a simulcast.
- Please listen to the advice of our ushers! The foyer will double as a worship area. Ushers will guide children and visitors to restrooms during worship without using the men's restroom which is located in the foyer.
- Encourage your friends to stay for lunch. There will be multiple serving lines on three levels of our buildings which makes for an unbelievably fast service. If anyone thinks they will go to a local restaurant to save time, more than likely they are wrong.
- Let's not forget why we are here and why we do what we do. We will gather to worship God. Let's come prepared to pour out ourselves to Him in worship. Let's remember the reason we invite is because we love the Lord and souls who do not serve Him, and we want to obey the greatest commission ever given, beginning at home!
Matthew 28:19 "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, (20) "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
