Time

How do you spend your time? The chart above is an example of how an average American's day breaks down. You may be a little younger, a little older, or spend your hours a little differently, but your chart will probably look very similar. The big question is - where is God in your chart? How many hours have you set aside for Him?

The concept of stewardship is often only thought about when it comes to how and when we spend or give our money. However, stewardship is more than just financial. We are to be good stewards with all that God has given us - even/especially our time.

How much time are you spending in your relationship with God? Do you block off time to study and talk to Him, does God only get the leftover minutes in- between activities, or do you find yourself too busy to work Him in? How much time each week do you spend serving Him? Work in the Kingdom never stops and God has given us each a job to do ("As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace." ( 1 Peter 4:10). Are you making time in your chart to use the gifts He has blessed you with? We're truly living on "borrowed time", and God expects us to make the most of the opportunities, blessings, and time He has given us. Let's make sure we're living and serving as good stewards.
