Be Prepared!

In 2 Timothy 4:2, Paul gives Timothy a charge: �Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering, and teaching.�

This is a charge we should all take to heart as Christians. We are commanded to spread the Good News of Salvation in Christ Jesus to our friends and loved ones. To do that, we must be ready at all times. How are we to be ready to teach? We have to study God�s word, write it on our hearts, and talk about it in our daily conversations. We need to do this so we might be able to convince someone of the truth, to correct them if they believe something that does not agree with God�s word, and to encourage them to devote their life to Christ!

This charge was given to Timothy and is given to us today!
