Mt. Juliet Church of Christ Vision for the Future

Before one can make plans for the future, it is very important to understand the past. The congregation of the Lord�s people at Mt. Juliet has been blessed with strong leaders who are committed to doing God�s will and following His precepts. Throughout the past 115 years, the membership has been responsive to the call for help and supportive of the leadership which is a recipe for success.

As we consider the future, there are some benchmarks that must be met if we are to please God and grow to our full potential. The following list is submitted by your elders with the understanding that it will take the cooperation of the entire congregation to become a reality:

• Become better students of God�s Word
• Develop a fervent prayer life
• Maintain and support God�s design for the family
• Teach, care for and protect children
• Grow the membership, realizing the value of every soul
• Grow the campus to meet the needs of every ministry
• Increase the staff
• Keep spiritual education as a top priority
• Add new ministries and deacons to lead them
• Appoint elders who love the Lord and will not compromise the truth

We encourage you to let this vision be your vision. Dream with us as we endeavor to serve the Lord and win souls for His Kingdom.
