There is a side of us which would like to forget the scenes of planes, towers, flames, jumpers, horrors, funerals, war and tears. But it isn�t healthy to ignore reality. We need to remember. We need to remember those still hurting, fighting, waiting, terrorized and crying. We also need to remember the only lasting answer is Jesus. With Jesus every terrorist would become meek and inherit the earth ( Matthew 5:5), which ironically is their goal. Every soldier would have pure motives and integrity saving the U.S. from the shame of war crimes ( 2 Timothy 2:3-4). Every one filled with fear as they wait for better days, loved ones return or relief would know in their distress the God of all Comfort is with them ( 2 Corinthians 1:3-4). The next time Jesus is being taken out of society remember what the opposite of �Christian� looks like. It might make us more determined to take our stand with the Lord!
