Prayer Day and 50 Days of Prayer 2005
Beginning November 12thby David Shannon

What a blessing it was to close last year with 50 days of prayer. We thanked God for the blessings of the year, beseeched His power in our lives for the next year, prayed for individuals and requested concerns. From time-to-time this year I have wondered about all the good He has given uswhat things have been received simply because we asked.

Your requests are needed to accomplish what we want to accomplish this year.
Soon you will be asked to complete prayer request cards. These will be prayed for on Prayer Day November 12. These requests will be added to Prayer Cards which will be prayed three times a day by hundreds within the congregation for the following 50 days!

Lets be a congregation that prays fervently at all times, all year. But lets be a congregation that becomes excited when we think about praying all day and thousands of times during a few weeks.
After a paragraph discussing prayer, friendship with God, drawing near to God and purifying minds it concludes with
Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up ( James 4:10). Lets use these ...
