Last night I had a dream. I dreamed that I took a walk up Calvary's lonely hill. The scene I saw with my own eyes could not have been more real. I saw 3 crosses and 3 men in agony. Two cried out for mercy. The third just looked at me. The hurt in the third man's eyes just broke my heart into. It seems I could hear the third man say, "I'm doing this for you." Once I heard the third man shout so I raised my head to see some blood spilling from his side and some of it spilled on me. The third man wore a crown of thorns and spikes held Him to a tree. Once I heard Him shout "My God, My God, why hast thou forsaken Me?" And there within the mighty crowd were those who cried "King, save thyself if thou art king," and the third man died. I heard the thunder roll, saw the lightening pierce the sky, and the third man was still there as I began to cry. Once again I heard the thunder roll, felt the earth shake, then I awoke and though I slept. I touched my cheek and found a tear. A dream, a dream, I really wish I knew, but I can still hear the third man say "I'm doing this for you."
Matthew 26:42 "Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, O My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done."
Jesus died on the cross to save us all from of our sins. In spite of all the bad things we have done, Jesus decided He Loved us so much that He would die for us. He died for us because of our sins.
