A Swedish court has sentenced Ake Green, a minister belonging to the Pentecostal movement, to a month in prison, under a law against incitement, after he was found guilty of having offended homosexuals in a sermon, according to Ecumenical News International.
Green had described homosexuality as "abnormal, a horrible cancerous tumor in the body of society" in a 2003 sermon.
Soren Andersson, the president of the Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender rights, said of hearing Green's jail sentence that religious freedom could never be used as a reason to offend people.
The above story could happen in America soon if rights continue to be granted to the homosexual community. As they obtain additional rights it decreases the rights of the righteous in this country. For example, as evolution was increasingly taught in the classroom, the right to continue to teach creationism has been squashed. As God is being eliminated from our society, history books in school are being rewritten to mention little or even nothing of the faith which was so important to our founding fathers. They placed the Ten Commandments on building, monuments, and statues for all to remember their guide and today lawsuits dot the country reversing the right to post them.
The point should be obvious. The homosexual agenda isn't a desire for them to be able to practice their sin, it is to advocate and force all to openly accept their sin as righteous.
One way PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays) has advocated homosexuality in schools is under the term "Safe Schools". The thought that comes to parents mind after years of school shootings, drugs, and gang behavior is the need for safe schools. Their agenda involves the need to educate teachers and students the "dangers" of not accepting this behavior. What effect might it have on a youth who is practicing homosexuality if he thinks his teacher believes it is abnormal or immoral? What effect would it have if a homosexual was called names or not accepted as being involved in normal behavior by their peers? Their agenda is to promote acceptance by proving if others don't accept, they have created a "danger zone" for children to learn. "Safety" is being redefined, unbeknownst by most everyone, to mean "embracing" homosexuality (Teaching Captivity? Page 13). Who would have thought churches would be considered "danger zones?" We must not sit back and allow these trends to continue. Let your voice be heard clearly on Capitol Hill!
