Thank You God, Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!
by David Shannon
We have been challenged to list 100 things for which we are thankful. Many important things will be on all Christians list and for those we are most grateful. I have asked a few of our members to tell me three things which are a little unique or unusual for which they are thankful. I hope you enjoy them and they cause you to appreciate God more!
I am thankful for ...
My family for what they help me to achieve; my grandchild ( a little girl--I don't know her name yet); Ham, Turkey and dressing, pecan pie, and all the love that made it happen; I am thankful for the Mt Juliet church and all that we do to bring others to Christ.***
I am thankful for the time that I was not a Christian. When I remember the bleakness, the not knowing or understanding, the knowing and understanding are very special. It's like being in the cold and coming into the warmth, it feels much better after you been out in the cold. It also helps you relate to people who have not found their way yet.
Hot Water, smile of our children, every day I see my wife alive.
