Our Ministers
David R. Shannon grew up in the Brushy community of Centerville, TN. He began preaching at the age of 14 for small congregations. While at Freed-Hardeman University studying business and Bible he met his wife Tracie. Now, two of their children (Colton and Lacie) are students at FHU while their youngest (Emilie) is in MJ high school. God has blessed them with two additional sons Rong Yang (at Tennessee Tech University) and Chris Malone (FHU). The Shannons love the laughter around a large supper table, late nights with the kids and occasionally snow skiing together. "Being a part of the MJ congregation is one of the greatest blessings we have ever received from God," says Shannon.

Pat Huddleston: "I spent most of my growing up years in West Nashville. My husband Tony and I went to the same high school but didn't meet there. We met at Park Avenue church of Christ and married there about three years later. We have been blessed with two children, Daniel and Rebecca . Daniel teaches English in Saga, Japan; Rebecca and her husband Brad (Rudder) live in Alexandria, VA. Rebecca teaches second grade and Brad serves our great nation as a major in the U.S. Army. What I love is having all my family home at the same time, sharing what's going on in our lives, many hugs, lots of laughter, and good food.
