is good news from a distant land."

The Journey Will Be Here Soon!

On August 31st, 9 of us from Mount Juliet will join 2 ministers from Memphis and travel to Donetsk, Ukraine. David Phillips and Josh Wyatt will be teaching at UBI (Ukrainian Bible Institute), while the Mount Juliet team will be conducting Bible Classes, Vacation Bible Schools, and other efforts with area congregations and orphanages. We will conduct Bible Classes at orphanages in Makeevka and Krasnoarmeysk, we will conduct a V.B.S. in Proletarski, and we will conduct Bible Classes for adults in Krasnoarmeysk. Since we will be staying in the city of Donetsk, we should be able to update this site regularly. We hope to post pictures as well throughout our trip. Please feel free to use the "comments" feature to send us messages - we may not be able to respond to each one, but they will be appreciated. More to come!

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in this strenuous journey. It's so good to be affiliated with a church like Mount Juliet and see so many things happening for the cause of Christ. We just wish our health would allow us to be a part of these trips.

In Christian Love,
John and Joanne Fitzgerald

Ben, I am sure missing your e-mails since you've been gone.

Hey ya'll!
We miss you so much! It sounds like you're already doing a wonderful job! We are praying for you. We've really enjoyed reading the blogs and hearing about all you're doing there. The strangest thing happened here- we had a 3 inch snow on Labor Day! Not really, we just don't have anything interesting to say. We love you! David and Tracie

Hi Daddy, Sounds like you all are doing lots of good and getting much accomplished. Momma servived her day with little David and I will check on her tonight. I will try to call Grandma tomorrow and check on her. We love you and are in our prayers.
Tina : )
