A graduate of FHU, ACU, Harding Graduate School of Religion, and Hebrew Union University, Dr. Woods has been a professor at Freed-Hardeman since 1965. He has authored multiple commentaries on books of the Old Testament, and he has preached for over 50 years. He and his wife Ann have 3 children.
