As we open a new chapter in the life of the church in Mt. Juliet by moving to our new facilities, we need to remember some things.
First, we should give thanks to God for all that He has given us. We should not forget the purpose He has given us. ‘Go unto all the world and make disciples.’ We live in a land of opportunity and by working together with faith in God, and through His grace we have been able to accomplish our task of building.
Let us remember why this is a time for growing; not just to get into a new auditorium, but to give better service to God.
It will be a joy to attend service in the new building. Let us always remember that our service is to God and not things made by man. We have great liberty in the Lord, let us be sure to keep our hearts pure and our eyes on the cross. God will continue to bless us if we continue to serve Him and not ourselves. We need to continue giving of ourselves in service as many of you have. II Corinthians 9:10 & 11 “Now may He who supplies seed to the sower, and bread for food, supply and multiply the seed you have sown and increase the fruits of your righteousness, while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, which causes thanksgiving through us to God.” V. 15 ‘Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!’
